Improving Policy Compliance with Automatic Remediation

We've posted a new article on policy compliance and remediation. Here's an excerpt:

One part of IT governance practice is defining acceptable types of devices, configurations, and software that are allowed on a network. Another part is enforcing those policies. The former is not easy but it is not as challenging as the latter. For example, stating that all Windows clients will apply the latest security patch unless there is a known problem is trivial compared with the task of ensuring it is done
