Google's Email Sobriety Test

This sounds like a joke but email users can have the equivalent of an email breathalyzer test with Google Goggles.

Jon Perlow, a Gmail engineer, developed this tool to help avoid sending an embarrassing drunken emails:

When you enable Mail Goggles, it will check that you're really sure you want to send that late night Friday email. And what better way to check than by making you solve a few simple math problems after you click send to verify you're in the right state of mind?

By default, Mail Goggles is only active late night on the weekend as that is the time you're most likely to need it. Once enabled, you can adjust when it's active in the General settings.

I have to give Google Labs credit, they do think well out of the box.

How dare you decide when I should be able to speak be it via-email voice and or postal mail! This is sick. That is why I don’t use Google! But it is late so I may be wrong.
