Trendy Phones Cause Skin Problems

File this under strange human interest story - British researchers have found long duration cell phone use can trigger rashes on cheeks and ears if the devices contain nickel.

And to add insult to injury, the more trendy your phone the more likely it is to cause problems. CBANews in Canada quotes Lionel Bercovitch of Brown University who has studied cellphone handsets and found:

Those with the more fashionable designs often have metallic accents and are more likely to contain free nickel in their casings

via Salon.
